Mark is from Florence, SC. He came to the Grand Strand with his wife, Betsy McKay, to enjoy the beautiful weather and to start Beachstar Properties.
His background in Law Enforcement, as well as construction, bring a lot of needed experience to the property management field.
He and Betsy have two daughters; the oldest is finishing up at Francis Marion University, and the youngest will be starting at Clemson in 2010.
Mark has served on the Florence School District 4 Board of Trustees, involved in short term missions in Belize, South America.
An avid hobby farmer, Mark has tried to grow tomatoes for years (this year is the year).
