How do I reserve a property?
You can reserve a property one of two ways. You may also reserve your property immediately on our website online. If you have a question about the property before making a reservation, please send us an email (firstname.lastname@example.org)
or call (843.471.0510) for assistance. Upon making your reservation, we require a deposit of 50% of the total cost of your reservation. The balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival and will be automatically charged to the credit card on file. A $39.99
damage fee is included in every booking to cover against accidental damage up to $1,500. See the website for more details.
What method of payment is accepted?
We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit or debit cards. We also accept cash, personal checks, bank money orders and e-checks. If paying the final 50% of your reservation we must have payment in hand 30 days prior to arrival. Credit Cards will be charged
automatically 30 days prior to your arrival.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please contact our office immediately if you must cancel or change your reservation. If you cancel your reservation more than 30 days prior to the arrival date, you will receive a refund of all monies paid less a $250 cancellation fee. If you cancel your
reservation within 30 days of the arrival date, you will lose all monies paid unless you have purchased Traveler’s Insurance. (See below information regarding Traveler’s Insurance). You must send a written notice (email
email@example.com or fax 1.888.656.7471) of cancellation to Beachstar Properties.
Do you offer traveler’s insurance?
Travel Protection Insurance is available through CSA Travel Protection. The cost is minimal in the case of an emergency, only 6.9% of the total rental cost. The plan is optional, however, we strongly recommend it. In the case of an unforeseen event affecting

What time can we check in on our arrival date?
Check in time is 4:00 pm on your arrival date, and check out time is 10:00 am on your departure date. If you are checking in or out during non-business hours please check the secure lock box with prescribed code to retrieve/deposit keys No early check ins
or late check outs are available. On very rare occasions during peak rental season, a rental property may not be ready until 5:00 pm.
Do you require a damage deposit?
We do not require a damage deposit for your rental. A non-refundable $39.99 damage waiver fee is included in the total rental cost. The damage waiver fee will cover reimbursement for non-intentional damages to the property up to $1500. You will receive
the terms and conditions associated with damage coverage upon making your reservation.
Are beach chairs and umbrellas available?
Beach chairs, umbrellas and other miscellaneous beach gear is not provided with the rental property. You are welcome to bring your own or where available rent them at several locations on the beach. You can also secure an outside company to provide you with
everything from golf carts to beach towels at
Woody's Beach Rentals.
Is WiFi and Cable Television available?
Some of our properties offer WiFi please see property details to be sure. Basic Cable television is available in all Golf Colony Resort units. If your unit does not include wireless internet please feel free to stop by the office in the conference room with
your wireless device during normal business hours free of charge.
Is parking provided for more than one automobile?
Yes, plenty of parking is available at most properties. Please contact us if you are bringing more than two automobiles.
Are linens provided, and what do I need to plan to bring?
Linens are provided for bathrooms, kitchen and bedrooms. You must bring beach towels. You are not allowed to take our towels and sheets to the beach. A service charge will be applied if any linens/towels are missing. A starter supply of bathroom tissue, paper
towels, soap, and trashcan liners is provided. You should bring laundry detergent, dish soap, bathroom supplies, extra trashcan liners, paper towels and bath tissue.
Who do I call if there is an issue with the property after arrival?
Beachstar Properties will have a representative to help with an issue if needed. Please call 843.471.0510 and hit 0 if after hours.All equipment in each rental unit should be in working order. Please report any equipment that will notfunction properly to our
office. We will make every reasonable effort to have the repairs made as soon as possible. NO REDUCTION, REBATE OR REFUND of rent will be issued for any mechanical failure of air conditioning/heat, dishwasher, refrigerator, disposal, TV, washer/dryer or other
appliances, or Elevators.
Is there an outdoor grill available?
If an outdoor grill is available, the property listing will say so. Please note that we do not guarantee the presence or condition of the grill if shown to have one with the property. Our housekeeping staff does not clean outdoor grills.
How do I check in?
If you arrive during our normal business hours please come by the office (1841 Colony Drive, Surfside, SC 29575) and check in at the help desk. If checking in after normal business hours, information will be sent to you on how to gain access to your unit. Be
sure to stop by the office on the next business day to confirm check-in information. Call the office number and press 0 for after hours questions on gaining entry or concerns.
How do I get to the beach?
- Visitors may access the beach from any of the Town's 36 access points.
- Wheelchair access is available at the 3rd Avenue North entrance, Surfside Pier, and Melody Lane accesses.
- Special Beach wheelchairs are available through the Surfside Beach Public Safety Department.

The Town of Surfside Beach provides pay-station or metered parking spaces at the following 12 beach area parking lots:

Is the Tennis Courts/Pool available with the rental?
Guests at Golf Colony Resort are allowed to use the swimming pool located outside your unit. Some units have a pool key which will be provided with your unit keys. PLEASE DONT LOSE POOL KEY. THE COLONY CHARGES US $100 TO REPLACE IF LOST WHICH WILL BE PASSED
ON TO YOU. Yes. The Tennis Courts are available to all guests. Please see the Beachstar Properties office to sign out keys and turn in keys after use.
Grocery delivery and pickup service
Don't waste your vacation shopping for groceries. Beachstar Properties has established a partnership with the locally famous Piggly Wiggly to provide you with more time to enjoy your vacation. Simply click
here to go to their website, select the items you would like to purchase and your groceries will be delivered and put away before you arrive at your Beachstar Properties rental.
24/7 Help Desk
The entire staff at Beachstar Properties is committed to making your vacation the best possible by providing a care-free environment. If a situation arises where you need our help, we’ll be there for you 24 hours a day 7 days a week. If it’s a housekeeping
question or a mechanical malfunction, just call and we’ll take appropriate action to alleviate the problem as quickly as possible.

Unit for Sale
In the event that the property you are renting is on the market for sale, we have to show the property and will make every effort this does not interfere with your vacation.
Items Left Behind
Beachstar Properties is NOT RESPONSIBLE for personal items left in rental units. Upon your request us to mail items to you, if found, your credit card information will be needed to pay for the processing of said return.
Lost keys should be reported to our office immediately. There will be a $35.00 service fee if it is necessary for our staff to bring you a key which had been lost after business hours. A service fee of $15.00 will apply to replace a lost key during business
hours at our office and should a pool key be lost you will be required to pay what the homeowners association charges us. That charge is $100 per pool key, SO PLEASE BE SURE NOT TO LOSE THE POOL KEY.
Description and Pricing Changes: Although every precaution is taken, errors in prices and descriptions do occur. We reserve the right to correct said errors. All furnishings, rates and other equipment may change without notice.
Owners Style: Every rental unit is privately owned and displays each individual owner's style. The condition of the property can vary based on age and care by each owner. If you have specific standards or requirements, we would prefer your personal inspection
of the rental unit before renting your property.
